We would all be lying we said we’ve never felt stressed. Nobody is immune to it in today’s digital and busy world. Whether it’s your job, your phone constantly buzzing or fifty unread text messages from the night before!
Constant stress is not good for the human body. It can develop into anxiety and depression, disorders which can be treated but are very much avoidable.
Here are few simple tips which we have found helps us relax into pure bliss:
1. Learn to say no 🛑
Sometimes, you just have to say no. If you say yes to everything, you will never de-stress or find peace. Without peace, you cannot find your happy place. Let yourself find your happy place again. Put your phone on silent. Decline that invite. Learn to say no, and start listening to yourself.
2. Meditate or start Yoga ✌️
Studies have shown chronic stress over time can be reduced and cured by meditating or starting yoga. Put your brain back into peaceful mode again, and halt the roller coaster.
3. Take Magnesium! 😊
Magnesium has long been known as a calming remedy, therefore helping us cope with stress – but also with nerve function, energy production and reduce muscle pain.
4. Eat your greens 🍏
Trees, no not that type of trees! Brocolli contains a chock-full of stress-relieving B vitamins, which helps relieve stress related symptoms. Other greens you can eat are Asparagus, Rapini, and even Popeye’s favourite… Spinach!
5. Listen to music 🎧
If you are feeling overwhelmed by a stressful situation, we recommend listening to music. Always have a pair of Ear Phones in your handbag or pocket.
6. Take a nap! 💤
Taking naps is very beneficial for your health, they can reduce stress levels and increase your well-being. Set a timer for 10 minutes, and no more. You’ll wake up feeling refreshed!
